Seat at the Gala

The school I attended as a kid has a fundraising Gala every year where a lot of money is thrown around for a good cause, and everyone dresses to the nines! Its a fabulous event and a great opportunity to get your name out there. This year, one of my friends askied if I would be willing to donate a peice for the Gala themed "Rio." I jumped to it and found a chair for a few dollars at the thrift store. Cleaned up the wood work and stripped it clean of filth. I purchased some hand made fabrics from a textile designer that I absolutely adore, Rebecca Atwood. The fabric is titled "Brushstroke in Blue-Slate," its so beautiful, I just love how this turned out! I can't wait to see how much it goes for? XOXO -Sarah
